Replying to @Si
@Si Not always. But it happens more than less still, so I think that's different than many other industries - the open nature facilitates it
now that is transcending the platform, @joeymcnair. I'm now making a cheddar and mushroom omelet on my old MBP as I stream Flash.

@nonprofit_tech @itstanveer that's fair, I have no issue with that. I agree. :)

@codepo8 @stefsull ROFLMAO. See? SEE? And people think I'm nuts.
@mattmay I think you missed the joke. We caved on Flash. Kind of story to talk about over beer.
Replying to @Si
@Si I know I don't know everything. No one can. That's why we have a good, strong community and help each other. :D

@codepo8 I think you win that round! Pedant :P

@nonprofit_tech @itstanveer I'm not insulting the devices, merely making a point about Web standards. The two are NOT mutually exclusive.

@StuRobson hahaha, that wasn't for you. You actually wrote HTML5 <video> which is absolutely fine by me.
@joeymcnair ooh, new use for my old MBPs! And here I was gonna go out and buy a new skillet.
Also, there's no such thing as "HTML5 video" - there's an HTML5 video element and related API. Just to be pedantic ;)

@mattmay Please, I work for the company called compromise. But I feel your pain big-time on this. It should never have come to this point.

@itstanveer can you run as many OSs as you want on an iPad?
I guess @kevinmarks I should go on record saying I never believed what I believe to be bullshit about iOS being "good" for HTML5 <video>
Replying to @mate
@mate good point. However, as I've seen how the process works via Opera Mini on iOS, I'm sure Adobe is doing plenty due diligence.
This is why I have never owned an iPhone or an iPad. Ironically, this is why I own MacBooks. I've got win, ubuntu, OSX and mobile emulators.
Replying to @kevinmarks
@kevinmarks of course. That's why if they choose to ignore it, the best way IMO to fight back is to vote with the currency of your choice.
@mediacaboodle yes, still unsupported. But the Adobe compromise will bring streaming Flash to iOS. Not that I personally care.

For those unclear about my comments regarding Apple, Adobe, and Flash, here's the news: Adobe has made an app for iOS that will allow Flash
