If Democrats hope to remain in power, they must adopt a progressive agenda that the American people will vote FOR – not just rail against someone to vote AGAINST.
That means taking on corporate greed, ending starvation wages, and making health care a human right.

Results in Iowa last night make it seem clear that Trump will be the GOP nominee.
Democrats are going to beat him by offering the American people A Better Deal - an economic u-turn, a new chapter of American history. We’re going to break the cord with a 50 year war on the middle class and poor in America in which the rich got richer and everyone else got shoved aside.
Trump brings people low and I’m going to bring them high.

The U.S. ranks at or near the bottom on almost every indicator regarding governmental policies toward children. Our youth homicide rates are more than 7 times that of other leading industrialized nations. Social scientists describe “war zones”— areas in violently charged homes and communities — where levels of trauma and post-traumatic stress among children are similar to those experienced by returning vets. There is nothing “post” about the traumatic stress of our children when it is re-triggered every day.

This is infuriating. Arctic temperatures and human beings outside struggling to get warm. New Hampshire alone needs 31,000 units just to get out of the hole.
We need a Domestic Marshall Plan for housing in the United States, with 5 to 10 million units of social units of social housing built.
