How is this not murder?
A 62-year-old grandfather and church deacon named #JohnnyHollman lost his life in Atlanta police custody after a minor traffic accident. He declined to sign a ticket, believing he wasn't at fault, and tragically, he was tased to death by the officer seconds later. #gapol #Sayhisname #Atlanta

I wouldn't say that, but believe what you will.

We can't start a new chapter in American history if we insist on repeating old ones. It's time to cut the cord with an era of American decline and begin again from a place of great wisdom, greater humility and greater love. #anewbeginning

Anybody who thought the idea of a Department of Peace was a wacky idea might want to rethink that.

Another candidate already HAS come forth, and she is available for a meeting. #marianne2024
Spoke with a former member of the DNC, and he said that Party insiders are extremely upset and have no confidence in Joe Biden winning the election due to his obvious declining mental acuity and supporting Israel. They strongly feel that another candidate needs to be put forth.

When the trickle-down con first began - and make no mistake about it, it was a massive con perpetrated on the American people - we were told about "job killing regulations." That "job-killing" phrase was the PR narrative created to trick people into thinking that all deregulation was a good thing. In fact, such regulations were job protections, labor protections, worker safety regulations, environmental regulations and so forth. Now we're seeing the result of this painful corporate-driven chapter of American history, in which our middle class has been hollowed out and millions left to suffer. We need to end that chapter and begin again. #marianne2024
Truck drivers used to make $100,000 a year. Today, many are homeless and live out of their trucks. The problem is deregulation. Before 1980 the industry was highly regulated, truckers were union, and it was a good job. Now the industry is unregulated, and drivers are suffering.

In theory it’s supposed to be government’s job to broker a balance between individual liberty - including economic liberty - with concern for the Common Good. In fact the former now reigns at the expense of the latter, putting humanity into a tailspin. 3/3

At a certain point, you can’t have it both ways. You can either prioritize the survival of your democracy, species and planet, or you can allow the dictates of an unfettered capitalist economy to take priority over those things. 2/3

The issue is not that we don’t have solutions to humanity’s problems. The issue is that people with solutions don’t have the power, and people with power too often don’t want to hear about real solutions. 1/3

This is a very important interview with Jeffrey Sachs. We need a Congressional investigation into the origins of Covid, not just to know what happened before but to get on top of any lab-related shenanigans that might be happening now. youtube.com/kIUelh-SAlQ?si=RRF_… via @YouTube

I love this.
Michigan lawmakers passed a bill to allow 16 and 17-year-olds to preregister, so that they’re already on the rolls to cast votes once they become eligible at 18. Proponents say this helps build civic habits early and encourages youth turnout. boltsmag.org/michigan-voting…

18 million people a year can’t afford to pay for the prescriptions their doctors give them, and Pfizer just made things worse.
Corporate greed is Pfizer tripling the price of Paxlovid to $1,390 a dose and quadrupling the price of its COVID vaccine to $115 while it made over $31 billion in profits last year and gave its CEO $33 million in compensation. Unacceptable.

By not holding debates, and suppressing any candidates other than the President, the DNC is directing Democrats into an electoral nosedive in 2024. And everybody knows it. Whatever trance has Democrats thinking the DNC must know what it's doing - after all, they had it so right in 2016! - now is the time to WAKE UP. The people ourselves have to take it from here. My campaign will win in 2024 by offering people so much more, returning the Democratic Party to its traditional role of unequivocal advocate for the working people of the United States: Universal healthcare, tuition free college and tech school, subsidized childcare, paid family leave, guaranteed sick pay, guaranteed living wage; declaration of a Climate Emergency; Dept. of Peace; Dept. of Children and Youth; and ending America's War on Drugs. Join me Friday at Noon pacific/3pmET to hear more about our campaign and what we have to do to win. Spread the word... WinWithWilliamson.com
