No NFL, you did NOT come up with a “compromise.” I hope the players – all of them, whether they are those who choose to kneel or not – will push back against this. This is America, where our right to express ourselves is sacred.

Doesn’t matter. They are not disturbing the game.

No, that was not a rule they had. It’s a national custom. I agree that it is a sacred one, but I never felt like kneeling silently was a show of disrespect. They didn’t yell or scream or use foul language; they simply knelt. It is a prayerful position, if anything.

They will be interviewed by the media. The media loves drama and will ask, why weren't you on the field for the Anthem?

Needs a lock out! Forced patriotism....sounds like North Korea to me!?

Great time to abolish Free Speech, during the national anthem. NFL gets the Nobel Prize for Irony.

Exactly, doesn't matter what side you're on. We should have the right to express our views.

Kneeling during the national anthem shows blatant disrespect for the flag and for what it stands for! the Flag represents the freedoms that we all have to express ourselves! Everyone should honor that by standing during the anthem!

My issue with this: there are religions in America that do not salute the flag, do not serve in the military, no jury duty and so on... why is this acceptable but the football players are basically crucified? Just my two cents.
