No NFL, you did NOT come up with a “compromise.” I hope the players – all of them, whether they are those who choose to kneel or not – will push back against this. This is America, where our right to express ourselves is sacred.

First amendment yes, this is not the case. An employer has the right to dictate behavior as demonstrated throughout business. If my behavior hurts the well-being of thus company I would expect to be held accountable. If I don't like my companies policies I have right to quit.

I feel you and many others are so anti Trump that whatever position he takes unconsciously one stops thinking for themselves and just opposes. Example, boarder control n sanctuary cities now the NFL policy. Curious, does TCIM apply in your experience to Trump? I contributed Bern
A lot of people died to give us those freedoms. Disrespecting the flag and veterans seems to distract from social issues.

There is a bigger picture. Football is highly violent and competitive which prolongs those traits into the masses that watch. We are like Romans showing up for the show of a lion versus a man. We have not advanced in thought one bit, while making the owners sick with wealth.

I hope every black athlete and their allies take a knee before every game. Unite behind ignoring it. And the 1st owner who fines players is taken to court for trying to restrict freedom of expression. That'll confuse everyone. Actions have consequences. Let's see what counts.
