If mass shootings were happening on a regular basis in the halls of Congress do you think Congress wouldn't act to prevent them? No, instead they can hide behind the security guards and metal detectors in their own halls. There IS such a thing as healthy shame. Shame on them all.

Absolutely- BUT- The American people need to continue this line of confronting the elected officials to the point the voices are so loud- they CANNOT be ignored!! If their safety was compromised- they would be demanding whatever changes need to happen!!

Sadly, you are 100 percent correct. I foolishly believed after 20 five year olds in Conn. were gunned down in cold blood, that things would definitely change. Bottom line, the NRA values money over all human life.
