Top 1 % of world’s population holds as much wealth as bottom 50 %, and 3 people in USA have as much wealth as bottom 50% here. Anyone rich or poor who thinks this is sustainable is kidding themselves. Addressing wealth inequality the great moral & economic challenge of our times.

It doesn’t bother me either. What bothers me is that there are way too many who have no realistic chance of even getting close. And the two are related.

If you’re in the club of those blessed by the free market in America, there is no better place to be. But not enough people today have a realistic chance of getting in. Too many are locked out. The fact that we want to see economic justice doesn’t mean we’re anti-wealth!

it doesn't have to be anywhere near to the extent to which it occurs today. Our govt. currently supports the rigging of the system, through tilting of resources in the direction of those who already have.
