Only Jesus (who never sinned) is worthy of nothing held against Him! Only way for humans to be absolved of anything is for someone else to pay their price! Jesus (God manifested on Earth in the flesh) shed His blood as payment for sins because of His absolute love!

Under this logic, atonement is impossible, because anything for which you might feel guilt or pride or ownership belongs to an earlier time that is no longer now. By the same logic, future bliss or otherwise is not yours either. But you do you.
