My daughter's English friend is coming to the States for a few days for vacation. On her visa application she was asked for her social media platforms plus who her contact is in the US. Anyone who doesn't think this is concerning isn't concerned enough. #nonotnormal

From NZ you just used to need to fill in the form on the plane. Now you need to pre apply online. It's not new though, we had to do it in 2016 before the election.

It did make me uncomfortable. On a good day I consider it like a disclosure question from an insurance company, they know anyway. On a bad day it freaks me out.
