To secure our safety, we need more than the ability to wage war; we need to apply the same level of attention & resources to waging peace. We need armies of diplomats, peacemakers, entrepreneurial mentors & teachers.If we don’t proactively wage peace then there will always be war

Whatever happened with the movement for a Dept of Peace? I would like to see your ideas implemented.

All co-sponsors were Democrats, so until Dems are in control of the House of Representatives again the Department of Peace legislation will not be moved forward.

I don't think it be effective if you don't get some bipartisan support.
