If a woman owns her own voice without apology, she is likely to be seen by some as grandiose or arrogant. That is the kind of subtle, internalized misogyny that all of us - women as well as men – need to be aware of.

Yes, I have been gossiped about as having “blonde ambition” and therefore untrustworthy. Thank you Marianne, and all women replying here, for owning your voice without apology—regardless. It makes it a little easier for each one of us all of the time.
