The CEO of Fed Ex served in Vietnam, now says assault weapons should only be in the hands of military. Dick’s… Walmart… FedEx…Corporate leadership finding its conscience this week. Potentially huge development.

The comments are mind boggling. It's exactly the same as when you were sick...who cares how you got sick, let's correct the problem. Who cares if they are assault weapons, tanks or torpedo's...guns are getting into the hands of those who kill. Let's correct the problem.

The assumption that ex soldiers or corporate execs don’t have a conscience - or that conscience is co-related to gun reform only - is flawed. We do better by keeping everyone in the tent.
There wasn’t the same public backlash after Sandy Hook. PBO tried to get sensible gun control through but the craven GOP refused. After that everyone should have refused to vote for any republican.
No doubt there should have been. I think people were in shock so they listened to the GOP nonsense “it’s not time to...” this time it didn’t work because the victims themselves said: “NOPE IT’S TIME!”

All ASSAULT WEAPONS should be collected, melted and used for something to help people. NO ONE SHOULD have assault weapons...PERIOD !!! We ALL came to this planet to learn how to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. Anything less than that is a waste of our energy.

Except that FedEX is continuing its relationship with the NRA. I would prefer to see FedEx end their NRA program also.
