The patriarchy has run out of ideas - but everyone else has lots of them! Instead of fight or flight, let’s tend or mend. Instead of investing in wars, let’s invest in peace. Instead of harnessing fear, let’s harness love. Snowflake? You bet. And expect an avalanche in November.

Not sure who came up with that platitude but it wasn’t Einstein. Is that how you’d want your oncologist to look at cancer? Or the fireman to look at your burning house? Isn’t that how some people looked at Jews being taken to concentration camps:”just don’t look at the negative”?

As you say, invest in peace not war. Love not fear. @DrWayneWDyer @TonyRobbins and many others use this quote to focus our intention on manifesting the positive. Focus on cancer tumour disappearing not growing. Tolerance not hate. Fire doused not burning.

YES!!!!! Like the 1944 Johnny Mercer song... ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE. You HAVE TO EXAMINE the NEGATIVE in order to eliminate it... and THEN you can ACCENTUATE the POSITIVE!

Then there is the question of NEGATIVE vs POSITIVE. Nothing has any meaning but what we give it. One of those ACIM question spirals. 💗
