Yes to all that. I’m confounded by when I think I DO understand and it just makes me MORE judgmental!

I have the same experience sometimes, but I try to remind myself it's simply a deeper lesson in acceptance and non-judgement than I had thought! You can say yes to a person's eternal innocence and still say no to what they're doing.

Gravitate towards people who are supportive and caring. Don't obsess over the thoughts of negative people. It's safe and important to express that you care about their point of view, to listen to their concerns, but don't let them suck you into their morass.
