Responsible gun owners who don't own assault rifles and who think that owning a gun will protect them shouldn't be forced to buy murder weapons in the name of freedom in order to out gun mass murderers.

They're the ones actually trying to take away our freedoms by trying to militarize civilians to the point where the average gun toting Joe won't have a chance much less be able to afford the killing machines they're peddling.

What's taking away democracy and freedom is the buying and selling of politicons. Ending Citizens United and insisting that elections and campaigns be funded by the public is actually the freedom that terrifies them.

Again, you cluelessly indicate the problem. When someone speaks, you should listen, process the message instead of preparing your next speech. It’s a responsibility accompanying our 1st amendment. And most are clueless, especially the self-identified public speaker & politicians.
