How many more have to die before ridiculous NRA talking points like "Let's not politicize a tragedy," "We need more data,""You're trying to take our guns away" and "Let's not make knee-jerk policy decisions" get pushed back forcefully & decisively? The midterm elections are key.

Simply not true. Demonizing all politicians is part of what got us here. There are good politicians just like they are good anything else, and it is our responsibility as citizens to find them and support them.

Exactly. Which is why we need politicians who will work on behalf of overturning the effects of Citizens United! Hillary would have appointed a liberal SCOTUS. So now, our only option is a Constitutional Amendment to establish public funding. And we need politicians to enact it!

Politics WILL NOT fix this. Think deeper, broader and more esoteric. #ACIM

A-woman MW馃檹 ...along with 'guns don't kill people' & 'infringing on the 2nd amendment' Thank you for being part of the light that is dispelling the darkness! #TimesUp on ad-hominem debate tricks, and TIMES IN on mindful-awareness and nonviolent-empathy馃挏
Gunman: I need a gun to kill people. Gun: I don't kill people, you kill people. Gunman: What? Gun: Yah, me & poison are getting sick & tired of being blamed for people dying. Gunman: You're #DesignedForDestruction Gun: YOU'RE DESIGNED FOR DESTRUCTION! Empathy: May I tag in?

Maybe we send pink p-hats to all the NRA-publicans. A sartorial symbol of what they鈥檙e being.
In the last presidential election I voted my conscience. I could not support either *party,* so I wrote in my choice. Some say my conscience vote cost the election; maybe, but i am (still) at peace with my conscience/choice/vote. I believe in democracy, in our power to prevail.

If Newtown didn't evoke change I fear that it's never going to happen..

More people in the US want sensible gun control legislation then don't. Rather than try to convince those who don't, vote out their Republican enablers. I don't care if they ever change their mind as long as they have no power.
