Dear God, Please bless the students, teachers and parents now going through the horrors of the shooting in Florida. And forgive us all for placing the profits of gun manufacturers above the health and safety of our children. May our complicity with this irresponsibility end. Amen

Guns don’t kill people. People kill people. It’s our right as Americans to own guns and protect ourselves. Maybe people are complacent with proper gun handling and education. Maybe mental health is the first factor or illicit drug use... why is gun control first under attack?

Again. People kill people. Not the gun. Look at the people committing crimes. Look at the lack of security we provide for our children. That’s the real shame.
