No matter how much military strength or financial might or great technology we have, if the USA throws overboard our principles - and most importantly, our heart - then we will go down as surely as any other empire whose arrogance tossed it into the dustbin of history. Karma. Is.

Our principals came out from ideals many no longer find valuable. How does a nation established on transcended ideologies that caused them to honor a higher calling & deeper pursuits find the heart to do this, without it...sincerely, please tell me.

By reminding OURSELVES what those principles are! All men r created equal; e paribus unum: out of many we're one; we're free to practice any religion or no religion; govt role is to balance individual liberty w/ care of the common good: & we're to be govt. of, by & for the people

Yes, all are created w/the same value creation gave to all humankind. Nevertheless, asking ppl to depend solely on their human instinct & nature to Love others is like asking dogs to forget returning back to their vomit. Especially, if were never even trained in the principals.
