He's been here for 40 years? He's had more than enough time to get his citizenship. Don't get me wrong. I'm not hartless, it's a Hart wrenching situation. But it could have been avoided by obeying the law.
I can't feel sorry for immigrants that have been here for years and should have gotten their citizenship long ago. We have laws for a reason and they should be enforced.
