The mystery that remains for me is that when I see interviews of Donald Trump from the 80's and 90's, he seems to have been a different person. Rational, attractive enough as a human being. Age alone does not change people this much. Something else is going on.

Every 'high office' is occupied by one who hopefully can 'hold' that office beyond the personal. We take a punt when we vote. The 'office' spits out those that cannot grow that capacity to transcend the personal. It is inevitable. Grow or fall. Law.
