I’m Chronic Pain patient, my doctor after trying all other avenues put me on opioids. I was warned of all of the dangers in writing. I have never had a problem. Opioid crisis is black market fentanyl.
So people should be tortured b/c a tiny % of those prescribed pain medication end up abusing? If meds were the problem deaths would be in the millions and not in the thousands. Rx deaths have gone down steadily since 2010. These laws send ppl who r sick 2 heroin and suicide.
Also, isn’t it better to let addicts go to hospitals, get their hit under the observation of a dr, using clean needles, & having the option for rehab made available to them each time they get their hit? Or let’s just cont. to let them die in the streets?
