Please do some research! Your words & false narrative are hurting intractable pain pts. Legit pts, thru no fault of their own, live with severe pain 24/7, are now being denied pain meds bc of OPIOID HYSTERIA that you are promoting. Drs do not cause addiction. Educate yourself!

Hi Marianne. Did you know that only about 1% of chronic pain patients under the care of a Dr who take meds as prescribed end up w/OUD? Please stop spreading this falsehood. You are harming law abiding citizens. You have the power to stop.

I don't think it's really about drugs, except maybe in a Culture War sense. Sessions reversed the Obama DoJ decision to close private prisons. There's a lot of money to be made filling those beds. Mammon strikes again? I think so.
