I would certainly like for Donald Trump to answer that guestion!

Same reason NY/NJ's rail project was just taken away. Trump can't even withhold his bitterness from his own hometown.

The main reason: our government does not control the money supply and must borrow from private bankers to get anything done. If we were not ruled by Central Banking, we could create debt free money and spend it directly on Puerto Rico. The 1% would hate that.
