Several years ago, one of the richest men in America said to me "My taxes are so low it's obscene." Important to remember many of our richest citizens are champions of economic justice. This is not rich vs. poor, it's only justice vs. injustice. Everybody wins when everybody wins

You don’t hear too many rich people speaking up though. Income inequality is poor v rich. And in our society we idolize rich people and disdain poor people. Our policies and budgets reflect this.

I don't agree. It's important that we not personalize this. It's unjust SYSTEMS, not unjust individuals, that are redistributing the opportunities for wealth creation. Deeper problem is the legalized system of bribery that makes it possible. WE MUST GET THE MONEY OUT OF POLITICS.

"Unjust SYSTEMS" start with capitalism, a system which is built upon the subjugation and exploitation of people for the profit of very few. But, I don't hear any well-off people - yourself included - challenging that system.

I understand what you are saying. But systems don’t magically appear. They are manmade constructs. They are created by those who hold power, and that is older, rich, white men in our country. I believe as a “class” they are doing great damage and need to be held accountable.

The rich control and enable those systems.
