Some honestly believe that a country ruled by its richest citizens, mainly white men, with a weakened government that works mainly at it their behest, is actually a good idea. It's a new royalism. We defeated it in 1776 on the battlefield & we will defeat it again at the polls.

The African American and Latino unemployment is at an all time low. The government is taking less money from its citizens. The Universe is on our side. Time for love to reign over fear. The best solution for poverty is jobs, jobs, jobs.

Okay, Danny. I'll go with that. Absolutely. But surely you realize there's no economic evidence to suggest that the money just given to the richest people and corporations is going to go back into job creation! Trickle-down economics is a myth. (I appreciate that we're talking!)

One year from now let’s see if there aren’t more jobs and wealth for the middle class. Under Obama the wealth gap was increasing and poverty was a devastating. What is the DNC plan? No alternative proposal. Only Trump hate. Hate will never win out. Citizens won this week.
