what is stopping the "collective us" from doing the right thing? We can, you know.
It's immoral to refuse to feed a hungry child. It's immoral to withhold from people basic tools they need in order to better themselves. It's immoral to give to the rich at the expense of the poor. Some things are not morally relative; they're simply the wrong thing to do.

We're a democratic republic. America is the greatest place in the world if you make it into the club, but what's happened in the last few years is that not enough people can make it into the club. They're systematically left out. That is undemocratic, un-American & unsustainable.
