It's immoral to refuse to feed a hungry child. It's immoral to withhold from people basic tools they need in order to better themselves. It's immoral to give to the rich at the expense of the poor. Some things are not morally relative; they're simply the wrong thing to do.

Replying to @marwilliamson
It is not immoral to let a child or a cat die of thirst or hunger it is a sin and not to assist a person in distress is an offense under the law.
After coming from living in a basement room with flies, spiders, mice, and living on dollar food options, I'm going to have to disagree with you. I was denied state healthcare because I wasn't disabled or had kids (not joking, that's what the paperwork said.) Appeal was denied.

Unfortunately church was one of the places I felt least safe and was constantly judged, with some people going so far as to tell me if I was "just a better Christian" none of this would have happened. I was never sleeping around or anything like that, was raised Christian.
A lot of what I assumed would be safe and a sanctuary turned out not to be. I'm certainly not saying all places are like that, I'm only speaking to my experience. I had to scrape for 7 years before things got better.
I asked multiple associations for help, including churches. I was repeatedly turned away for multiple, illogical reasons, as many others are. For someone so insistent that you are open minded, this response seemed pretty toxic. Sorry you feel that way.

You're slipping again!:) What did I tell you about having the courage to fix it?
