It's immoral to refuse to feed a hungry child. It's immoral to withhold from people basic tools they need in order to better themselves. It's immoral to give to the rich at the expense of the poor. Some things are not morally relative; they're simply the wrong thing to do.

I agree with you. Just to be clear, what do you do, specifically, to feed the hungry?

I founded an organization that feeds homebound critically ill people. It has now served over 11 million meals.

Since this tax bill gives to both the rich and the poor...you are okay with it then...right?
No...she is not right. The "projection" which is nothing more than a guess, suggests a possible $1.5 trillion added to the overall national debt, not to an annual or monthly deficit.
That is 100% ignorant. "Deficits" are annual budgetary conditions. Debt is the total of all deficits. You can't have a deficit for a decade, since we do not do budgets for a decade at a time.
The budget is annual. How things are "calculated" makes no difference to the discussion here. Debt is long term. Deficits are totaled against an annual budget. When discussing a projected $1.5 trillion is is not annual. It is "guessed" possible debt over a decade.
I also studied this boring garbage, kept a 4.0 GPA all through college. I will bet you didn't.
Who in their right mind would want poor and children not taken care of. When Jesus said "the poor you will have with us always", was he chastising them, or others. Problem is when you take "Jesus" out of the occasion that is a problem!
As a minister I also want things just for me, lots of things! When that starts taking over my life, God throws "kinks in my life" that brings me back to "his reality"...enjoy doing for others!
