It's immoral to refuse to feed a hungry child. It's immoral to withhold from people basic tools they need in order to better themselves. It's immoral to give to the rich at the expense of the poor. Some things are not morally relative; they're simply the wrong thing to do.

It’s immoral to expect the gov’t to do what WE the church should be doing!! Next time you feed a hungry child...like I & many others do thru weekly Backpack food program, please let us know!! Next time you visit the widows, please say-Best I can tell you think Gov’t should do all

I ran a church for six years. The idea that the churches of America can take up the slack after the government stole billions - now trillions - from the public treasury just to put it in the hands of our richest citizens, is ludicrous.

Immoral to give to the rich? You mean to TAKE less from the rich?

I don't know one rich person -- and I know many -- who honestly believes that line. They know the joke being played here, but some of them are happy that you're falling for it.

I’ve seen too much of it also. People on assistance getting their nails done, etc on a regular basis..their mentality needs to be changed.

You can find within any group of people, an example of their shadow element. But that is not who the people ARE. The person you mention is exhibiting behavior none of us would support, but that is NOT the face of poverty in America.

Who is refusing to feed a hungry child?

One in four American children are food insecure. And in other countries (where, yes, we could help), around 12,000 children starve every day.worldhunger.org/world-child-…

It is immoral for people to have children who do not have the means to provide for them. It is immoral for people who will not work to provide the basic things they need. I am not against helping others in need. I am against taking care of them forever!

Leonardo da Vinci's mother had no way to take care of him. And the vast majority of people on government assistance do not wish to be there. The demonization of the poor is a right wing strategy intended to justify robbing them.
