The Govt of Israel has long been in Jerusalem. Isn't it just a practical reality for the representatives of other Govts to be there too?

No not at all. Jerusalem is hugely important to 3 major religions. Eastern Jerusalem particularly a negotiated point in any serious peace talks. While Jewish state of Israel controls Jerusalem, the delicate balance of respect there is HUGELY important; this US move throws it off

My mom and I went in 2015 on the Wayne Dyer cruise (pics on profile are from Jerusalem). The city exists only due to a careful balance of politics, religion, and God’s grace.
