This is not in any way to minimize the experience of women who were harassed, but it would be untrue to my own heart were I not to say that John Conyers was a good friend to me during my time in Detroit. I have known him to be a warrior for justice. I pray for him & wish him well

“Not in any way to minimize, but” guess what you just completely minimised their experience. He may have been a good friend to you- he terrorised others I know who I would be supporting.... despite “my truth”
