This is not in any way to minimize the experience of women who were harassed, but it would be untrue to my own heart were I not to say that John Conyers was a good friend to me during my time in Detroit. I have known him to be a warrior for justice. I pray for him & wish him well

Consistency is one of the hardest things to achieve. “Nice men” can be sexual harassers too and don’t deserve protection or excuses. They broke the law.

So are you supporting Roy Moore, Pete?

Please what, exactly? Please don't tell my truth? I thought this was all about women being authentically honest about our experiences now.

“Not in any way to minimize, but” guess what you just completely minimised their experience. He may have been a good friend to you- he terrorised others I know who I would be supporting.... despite “my truth”

.Cool. We all get to see things as we see them. I don't feel I'm minimizing anyone. I work with people in jails too, and that doesn't mean I am minimizing the pain of their victims

What a conundrum! Worth, honor, and human failure! Very sad! 😞
