President Trump fully endorsed Roy Moore this morning. There's something about seeing the words written that forces you to confront the reality, taking you right into the place where you are completely and solidly convinced that nothing is more important than fixing this insanity

The insanity is that we now have trial by Marianne Williamson. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? I’m not a fan of Mr Moore’s politics but he deserves to be treated fairly. You treat all allegations as facts— unless a liberal does it. Shameful.

No, I do not treat all allegations as fact. But when as many reputable women tell basically the same story about something that happened to them when they were teenage girls, I believe them. And it's not just "liberals" who believe them; many conservatives do too.

I don't feel like it's us versus them. I feel it's a hugely important, historically significant contest of ideas that transcends the individual.

Both major political parties need to get their soul back. This is a dark night to be sure, but there will be a dawn if we stay the course and steer the ship away from the dangerous, undemocratic waters into which we have wandered.

I used to feel optimistic because I felt our democracy was working; today I feel optimistic because, despite the fact that our democracy is under attack, I know that in God all things are possible and that ultimately love will win. So yes, I am optimistic because I am faithful.

T & Moore are sadly cut from the same cloth. 2016 gave 🇺🇸 insight into Ts predatory behavior. Voters (including women) were willing to set aside Ts words & deeds & elect him. Now we see Moore leading in AL. 🇺🇸 can't normalize electing sexual predators/child molester. Shame!
