Or, for many, things other than politics - like making a living, cooking dinner, taking kid to sports thing - are just so much more important. Good normal folks getting on with getting on.

I agree that those things are very important, but we should remember how many Germans did exactly those things while ignoring all the Jews being put on trains and taken to concentration camps while they did. Life has many important facets.

Yeah, but other generations were depressed too and they dealt with it. It's an art form, honoring our sadness but making sure it doesn't stop us from showing up.

Very true. Fortunately, I think we’re learning to crowdsource and micro-task so that the burden isn’t overwhelming individuals as much. We’re rediscovering true strength in numbers and the wisdom of the crowd!
