Our extreme poverty rate is so high that it is an international concern. Why on earth are Republicans are trying to push through a $1.5 trillion tax cut for the very wealthiest, while 41 million Americans are living in poverty? This is a disgrace. theguardian.com/world/2017/d…

Poverty has grown exponentially because of the US welfare program which only rewards dependency on fed gov’t rather than working/self-sufficiency —leading to generational poverty! Our welfare program MUST be reformed/redesigned if pov is to ever improve!!

Bernie Sanders is not an objective. No Democrat wanted American citizens to pay lower taxes. I don’t understand why they consistently want to increase taxes rather than decrease spending. Reps aren’t that great either but I prefer to give the government less money to waste.
