GOP was successful today in moving the tax bill to the floor. This bill institutionalizes economic aristocracy in America; we'll see whether or not the American people are willing to accept that.

Remind me AGAIN how you & alllll your rich friends have SO helped lower the burden on lower & middle income families the last 8yrs.... I’ll wait..... you know... the dependency on gov’t that merely increases poverty & more dependence ALL while rich got richer

The poor in this country do not depend on government largess so much as the rich in this country depend on government largess. In the words of Martin Luther King Junior, "If they give it to the rich they call it a subsidy; if they give it to the poor they call it a handout."

BULL!!! MANY poor rely SOLELY on government — again, get out in communities, talk to food stamp offices... our system rewards non-working. We now have more non-workers than workers in America.

I am barely middle class,I have NO problem w/those that have worked hard & made TONS of money being rewarded.Hard work SHOULD be rewarded,there is far too little of it anymore.I also believe Jesus’ words in Luke 12:48 “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded;
