Resistance to authoritarianism is not a Left-Right issue. There are conservatives as well as liberals alert to the threat of dictatorial rule; it's important that we remember to acknowledge that.

Marianne, you know historically it’s been the Conservative doctrines and policies that have led to Authoritarian Regimes. I’m convinced that you meant that building up a democracy requires a bipartisan effort. Resistance, historically, has required liberal doctrines and policies.

Telling police to do whatever they want is not restoring law and & order, it's destroying it. No one's respecting the US now; everyone but us is laughing at him. Current economic gains are due to Obama policies. And Trump hasn't done anything regarding welfare. But good try:)
