When gov't. is turned into the handmaiden of corporate forces, seeking to simply do their economic bidding rather than balance the effects of market forces with the protection of the common good -- as in now -- then we're in trouble.

Thanks you for the post. When was last time Democratically Elected governments behaved towards common good? The moment we get money from Private donors, demonstrated is hijacked!

I have never seen such a bunch of greedy, self serving individuals in my entire life! What makes it so much worse is that they are supposed to be representing us, the constituents! American citizens! HUMAN BEINGS!!

They’ll tell you they have families and need to take home a pay check. Who’s going to challenge that? Seriously, it’s always the response for people that don’t do the right thing. I have no wife and kids so what do I know?
