The US has subconsciously (on the part of some) reverted to an aristocratic system, in which only some are considered entitled to a fair share of America's resources. Education, health care, and opportunities for wealth creation should belong to ALL. THAT is the American dream.

At this point, only a massive citizen uprising -- voting, lobbying, etc. -- will be able to turn it around. Particularly voting. They can only hack an election that's close. The challenges are many - voter suppression efforts, etc. - but we can do it. We just need to act FAST.

And yet, they have the unmitigated gall to call people who, say, collect disability, or are on Medicaid or Medicare "entitled." If you pay into something via honest work, then yes...you are ENTITLED to it.
