Morality applies to economics as much as anything else. Idea that financial bottom line should override the good of society is blasphemous.

Whose morality? That is the rub. I want an aspirational society and you want a dependent society.

Not at all. I just want a fair society. And that should be a universal morality, regardless of our politics

Fair ended on the schoolyard in the 3rd grade, without a healthy bottom line there is no wealth to create employment, no supply to satisfy demand and no sense of personal worth and accomplishment. Nothing to aspire to.
