If a man says Kevin Spacey did something to him, we all believe it. If multiple women say Roy Moore did something to them, every sentence starts with, "IF the allegations are true..."

You're exactly right. That wasn't what the thread was about. It was about both sides making it a partisan issue, which it is not. It was about each side saying 'IF the allegations are true' when it deals with someone you oppose. Sexual misconduct is non-partisan.
Yes...but the allegations are 40 years old. What took so long? And why now? If he did it , hang him by his toes...but this is too close to an election that is very important and it screams of women being PAID off AGAIN to make things up. Been done before! TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!

It is because the stories of Kevin Spacey have been out there for YEARS! Roy Moore is in a very important election and people are terrified he may win. 40 years is a long time to hold something like this in. Why didn't his accusers come out before this with his other elections??

I'm convinced "If True" is just code for "Thoughts and Prayers" and do nothing.

Sadly I think that example has more to do with - do anything, support anyone as long as the other party doesn't win - politics.

I have been saying this all week. Maddening.

Beyond it being a double standard I think it's about the party and getting that corporate tax cut through.
