If a man says Kevin Spacey did something to him, we all believe it. If multiple women say Roy Moore did something to them, every sentence starts with, "IF the allegations are true..."

Everyone in Hollywood has known about Spacey and his abuse for years!
They’ll believe Spacey accusation because it feeds the narrative that all gays are perverts. They’ll deny the Moore accusation because it feeds the narrative that all women are opportunists. They hate gays and women, full stop.

The frustration is palpable. Our "go to" is to blame the victim UNLESS that victim happens to be male. As women we are just as guilty as men of ignoring this hypocrisy and in those moments we too say "why was she there, what was she wearing, why didn't she tell anyone"

Patriarchy in full effect 😎
I think this is too simplistic a take on a complex issue that does more harm to victims and furthers the stigma of male assault. Don't use abused boys and men as a stepping stone to prove that girls and women have it worse.
