Don't think of the 18 midterms as just another election; it needs to be an uprising of citizen authority the likes of which we've never seen

I think we want to be careful to avoid any sense of spiritual superiority. Politicians aren't any more or less "spiritual" than anyone else

Many are (as in any other area), but many are not. We need to remember that so we can support those who are standing strong for our values.

Caveat is that people have very short memories and will vote single issue - i.e. gun rights - and forget all the other stuff.

Nothing will fundamentally change until people decide not - under any circumstances - to vote for major party candidates on either side.
