Actor Richard Dreyfuss says most of our political problems because we stopped teaching civics in our schools since 1970. He's totally right!

A teacher who began in 1970, I think Richard is right. However, I also don't remember learning civics as a student previous to 1970.

When you were local to Detroit, I wanted to start a school with you. You would have loved all of the activity-based learning we introduced.

Teaching a subject doesn't mean students actually experience a paradigm change. Usually it's an intellectual process that falls short.

I absolutely would have to google, but I guarantee you that I know the branches of govt. and basic civics- as all Americans should!
And I guarantee you that the sitting president would have to too ( but I bet you the last one wouldn't have to)!!!
