America isn't a hateful country, but what hate there is here has been harnessed for political purposes. We must now do the same with love.

Not everyone who voted for him were coming from that place - not by a longshot. Economic despair drove many.

Not a hateful country? We have slavery, sharecropping, Jim Crow, mass incarceration, racism, etc bc there's so much love.

Some of what you listed occurred and were abolished. Those existing now are the challenge to our generation to remove.
