Not an excuse. There are ways to exert pressure. Governments can change laws.

Not the job of our government to dictate to another what to do. Such local customs need 2B addressed by each State themselves

Many Senators & law enforcement personnel including Human Rights lawyers have tried to stop honor killings but to no avail
