Marianne, just as you can’t pray away gay, no amount of “spiritual exercise” will cure the *illness* of depression, or any illness for that matter. I don’t discount the benefit of positive thought for all illnesses, but it’s no replacement for medical treatment.

And your medical degree is from where? Do you even understand what classes we attend in treating mental health issues? What happens in clinical / residency to prepare us ? I thought not.
