Allowing a child to shoot at a shooting range is child abuse, and should be illegal. (They can't go into the gym, but they can shoot a gun?)

@Tiff_and_David As a mother,I think willfully reckless & irresponsible behavior towards a child IS abuse. That child is now scarred for life

@PamyDFoley I'm more concerned that the State of Arizona allows it. Absolutely, there should be age limits.

@Tiff_and_David A man DIED here. What rational society doesn't think an UZI in the hands of a 9-year-old might cause a serious risk?

@Tiff_and_David I'm sure the parents are devastated. By "society," I meant the govt. of AZ for allowing gun ranges to cater to children.

@Tiff_and_David Then do you think children should be allowed to drive a car, or fly an airplane? "Strength and maturity" of a 9 year old???

@Tiff_and_David Okay:) (whispering now)

@Tiff_and_David No, a 9 year old is NOT mature enough to drive a car! Young children should not drive, and young children should not shoot.

@marwilliamson THANK YOU! I just had this debate with a friend! I agree with you! No child of mine is to use a gun (not even a toy gun).

@marwilliamson @SaraBethSimon a gun fired at a cardboard target is no more offensive than a knife used to cut onions. In uk knives kill more
