Without pre-school, a child is behind on Day 1 of kindergarten. If not caught up in reading by 2nd grade, future incarceration 50% probable.

@rveckert You know what? FLA had a really poor education story 15 years ago. Miami-Dade is now most improved. What are they doing right?
@rveckert I've worked with Miami-Dade schools. That's a misrepresentation of the facts.
@rveckert I live with a career teacher. My parents were career teachers. They agree, but not to the point of OBSESSion. there are pros, too.
