@SnakebiteJones @bigdave0908 I've raised one & she's fabulous. The point is that not every child in America has a present or involved parent

@marwilliamson Where the heck did you get your info.? Kids who stay home with parents until they're five are more likely to end up in jail?

@marwilliamson What about Finland, where they have the best educational outcome in the world and the kids start at age 7? @StevieJWest

@rveckert @marwilliamson @StevieJWest Well, if she's right, we're going to need a LOT more prisons. Thank god for undocumented labor.
@rveckert @marwilliamson @StevieJWest Must be more than 2 camps in this debate. Not sure I'm in either of yours. Testing, per se, isn't bad.
@rveckert @marwilliamson @StevieJWest Ok. It's kind of a corner case, tho. There's great value in the national data even if it's' temporary.
@rveckert You know what? FLA had a really poor education story 15 years ago. Miami-Dade is now most improved. What are they doing right?
@rveckert I've worked with Miami-Dade schools. That's a misrepresentation of the facts.
@rveckert I live with a career teacher. My parents were career teachers. They agree, but not to the point of OBSESSion. there are pros, too.
I have to say, tho... the sophomoric nicknames like "drill and kill" don't help your credibility. You seem better than that. @rveckert
