@marwilliamson not sure I like that thought. Opposes free will. Many things started with good intention end up wonky.

@marwilliamson: That's what we do in Norway and I believe other countries as well. No extra effort to register.

@TheEliselise Exactly. That's because there aren't powerful forces in Norway trying to disenfranchise whole groups of voters.

@marwilliamson voting is mandatory in Brazil after 18th birthday - they start voting voluntarily at 16. #progressive
